Green Tara

The beloved deity Green Tara is the feminine embodiment of enlightenment. For centuries, practitioners have turned to her for protection from both external and internal dangers, ranging from fire to anger and arrogance. Anyone interested in pursuing the enlightened qualities of this Bodhisattva is invited to join us in this sadhana practice.

Thursdays, 7:00 PM

Medicine Buddha

The practice of Medicine Buddha, the Supreme Healer (or Sanjai Manla in Tibetan) is not only a very powerful method for healing and increasing healing powers both for oneself and others, but also for overcoming the inner sickness of attachment, hatred, and ignorance, thus to meditate on the Medicine Buddha can help decrease physical and mental illness and suffering. A distinction is made between a cure and healing. While a cure may not always be possible, one can always be healed from any illness.
