Distinguished Tibetan monk from the Drepung Gomang Monastery, arrives this month.
The Rime Buddhist Center & Tibetan Institute of Studies, invites you to welcome the arrival of Geshe Tsewang Thinley, during the Sunday service, on March 19th beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by a meet and greet with Geshe Thinley from 12-2 p.m.
During his stay at the Rime Buddhist Center, Geshe Thinley, a representative of the Drepung Gomang Monastery of South India, Thinley will teach Tibetan Buddhist classes, perform religious services, host meditations, and participate in several areas of community outreach. He will remain in residence in Kansas City for up to two years.
