Exciting Update: Online Sunday Services Moving to YouTube Live

We’re excited to announce that beginning Sunday, August 3rd, the Rime Center’s Online Sunday Service will be moving to YouTube Live. This change will provide a more reliable and user-friendly platform for those who join us remotely.

Our goal is to make it easier for you to participate in the service, whether you’re meditating with us live, chanting along, or watching the Dharma talk from wherever you are.

This update applies specifically to our online Sunday Service. In-person services at the Rime Center will continue as usual.

Sunday Service Returns to the Rime Sangha House

We are happy to announce that beginning Sunday, August 3rd, our weekly Sunday Service will return to its original location at the Rime Sangha House, located at 2939 Wayne Ave.

We look forward to gathering again in this familiar and welcoming space. Please join us as we continue our shared practice and community connection in our spiritual home.

Sutra Study Sunday – Self-Examination

We will be exploring the rich repository of Buddhist Sutras. We will be studying the Sūtra on Self-Examination. In this teaching, the Buddha elucidates how attachment arises from perceiving sights, sounds, and thoughts as permanent, pleasurable, and inherently “self.” Conversely, by recognizing their true nature—impermanent, conducive to suffering, non-self, and perilous—we can relinquish craving and attain liberation from suffering.
