The Rime Sangha will conclude with a final hike at the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve on Saturday October 15th. It will be an all day outing since the park is about a two hour drive from Kansas City. The carpool to the Tallgrass Prairie will leave at 9 am from the Rime Center and should get us to the park around 11am.
The plan is to hike the 3.2 mile Scenic Overlook Trail, and if time allows we may hike another shorter trail at the end of the Scenic Overlook Trail. After the hike we can stop in Emporia for a late lunch before we head back to KC. If the weather is not cooperating the hike will be postponed to the following Saturday.
