Lama Matthew Palden Gocha will be offering both a spirit offering and smoke offering during the Sunday Service April 9th. We will be making offerings to help dedicate and create auspicious connections as we near the end of the 108 Day Bodhisattva Challenge.

This event will be an outside practice, if you would like to attend in person, please bring a lawn chair. We will also have the online option using Zoom, same link as the Sunday Service.

Join us online by registering in advance for the Zoom meeting

According to Lama Lena, “Through the Tibetan tradition of spirit offerings and sang (incense smoke), we practice generosity of the body, energy, and mind by giving the very best we have to offer to all the beings that live alongside us. Making offerings can empower our practice by accumulating positive energy, helping to heal nature, and removing natural obstacles. Sang allows us to cultivate generosity towards all classes of beings in the Buddhist pantheon – from the buddhas and bodhisattvas to gods, demons, and hungry ghosts.” Learn more about spirit offerings from Lama Lena.
