Rime Sangha Hike – Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve

October 16, 2021 @ 9am

The Rime Sangha will conclude with a final hike at the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve on Saturday October 16th. It will be an all day outing since the park is about a two hour drive from Kansas City. Sangha member Beniah has offered to carpool in his van, which holds about 10 people. The caravan to the Tallgrass Prairie will leave at 9 am from the Rime Center and should get us to the park around 11am. Read more.

New Proposed Meditation/Prayer Hall

The Rime Board have been working with local architect Joel Marquardt with ArchETexture Works, to construct a meditation/prayer hall for the Rime Buddhist Center. Thanks to Joel’s expert advice the Rime Board decided that the most cost effective way to build the meditation/prayer hall would be to add it on to the back of the 2939 Wayne Ave property.
